What happens when you give a marketing team a full day to play with AI? ???????????? You get Tetris and Pac-Man games. A dashboard builder. A content generator based on Gong recordings. Comic strip meeting summaries (!). A daily target calculator,. An instant meeting booker. A sales prep tool built on customer data — and more! Today, me and Tommy Albrecht hosted a Marketing AI Hackathon at Funnel and the creativity, energy, and curiosity that filled the office was amazing. The idea was simple: take a full day, remove constraints, and build something using AI. It could be a mockup, prototype, micro-app, landing page — whatever felt exciting and valuable. The only rules? It had to be done solely by using AI and it had to be tangible enough for a demo by the end of they day. Teams self-organized around submitted ideas, dove into tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, Uizard, and Figma plugins, and just started building. We wrapped it all up with live demos and, of course, pizza and beer. We also had the pleasure of having my dear friend Josefine Nytomt joining us for an inspirational talk over lunch, speaking about the role of AI in the design process. Huge thanks, Josefine — and thanks to everyone at Funnel who helped make this day happen. I’m incredibly grateful and energized by getting the opportunity to organize this. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and walked away with new ideas, working prototypes, and a big dose of creative momentum. We’ll definitely do this again!
