A recent U.S. study found 75% of adults listen to music to relieve stress and relax; 73% listen to it to bring joy; 65% in order to improve their mental health or mood; and 60% use it to motivate or energize them. So just imagine a technology that supercharges the emotional impact of music manyfold. Watch this short version of the Kan11 TV station segment about the Davinci Calm and Flow technology, and how it is being used now with terror and war trauma victims. #emotionalRegulations #music #neuroscience https://lnkd.in/dv_BEQKw https://lnkd.in/dv_BEQKw

Researchers recently made a significant discovery using an artificial neural network model, suggesting that musical instinct may emerge naturally from the human brain. By analyzing various natural sounds through Google’s AudioSet, the team found that certain neurons in the network selectively responded to music, mimicking the behavior of the auditory cortex in real brains. This spontaneous generation of music-selective neurons indicates that our ability to process music may be an innate cognitive function, formed as an evolutionary adaptation to better process sounds from nature. Key Facts: The study used an artificial neural network to demonstrate that music-selective neurons can develop spontaneously without being taught music. These neurons showed similar behavior to those in the human auditory cortex, responding selectively to various forms of music across different genres. The research implies that musical ability may be an instinctive brain function, evolved to enhance the processing of natural sounds. Source:?KAIST https://lnkd.in/dpYTSJiF

Most of us listen to Music as a tool to make ourselves happier, calmer , or more focused. Multisensory stimulation strengthens that impact manyfold. The technology we develop at Davinci Neuroscience Inc. Inc. makes music much more potent by meshing it with algorithmically crafted vibrations . The TV channel Kan 11 broadcasted an 8 minutes segment about the technology we are developing in collaboration with the Ivcher Institute for Brain, Cognition & Technology The clip with English subtitles: https://lnkd.in/dX-giHR9 (The English subtitles show up automatically or you can press cc if they do not). #neuroscience #davinci #music
