Latino Stories of October 7 Must Be Heard: Leah Soibel In the wake of the October 7 events, Fuente Latina realized that brief soundbites were insufficient to truly convey the experiences of Latinos in Israel. Driven by the necessity to provide a deeper understanding, they decided to create a documentary that would fill the gap in Spanish-language coverage about what happened on that day. Fuente Latina's mission is to share stories about Israel that resonate within the Hispanic community. The best way to tell these stories was through the voices of Latinos who migrated to Israel seeking a better life and found it in the southern communities near the Gaza border. The documentary aims to highlight their unique journeys and the impact of the events on their lives.
