Your people are your greatest asset, treat them like it. A thriving business isn’t built on products or processes. It’s built on: - motivating your people. - showing that you value your team. - empowering those you lead. To build a high-performing team, focus on these four essentials: 1. Keep people interested – Challenge them with meaningful work and growth opportunities. 2. Keep people informed – Transparency builds trust; share updates, wins, and challenges. 3. Keep people involved – Encourage collaboration and give them a voice in decisions. 4. Keep people inspired – Lead with purpose, recognise contributions, and set the vision. Here's how to keep your people feeling valued: 1. Invest in their growth – Provide learning opportunities and career development. 2. Listen and communicate – Create a culture where feedback flows both ways. 3. Recognise and reward – Appreciation fuels engagement and loyalty. 4. Prioritise well-being – A burned-out team can’t perform at their best. Leadership isn’t about control, it’s about creating an environment where people thrive. A motivated team is an unstoppable team. Are you leading a team or just managing people? The best leaders do ONE thing differently. It's not delegation. It’s ELEVATION. They don’t just lead. They create future leaders. They prioritize two things: ? ???????????????? #1: Grow yourself. ? ???????????????? #2: Grow your team. When you grow, your team grows. And when your team grows, your company grows. Here's how you do it: Train your team like you’re grooming them to be leaders. That doesn’t mean they’ll take your job. That’s the wrong mindset. So, how do you grow as a leader? ? ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????????????? ?????????? ???? ?????? ??????. ? If I ask you which leadership book you are currently reading, what would your answer be? ? ?????????? ???????? ?????? ??????????. ? Acquiring leadership knowledge means nothing if you don’t use it to grow your team. The best leaders don’t just build strong teams. They build the next generation of leaders. Your success, my mission | 3x founder & CEO | Former CIO $4B company | DEIB ally | Sharing 24 years of hard-earned leadership & self-mastery wisdom

The cost of appreciation? Zero. The return? Priceless. "A person who feels appreciated will always do more than expected." It's not manipulation. It's human nature. We respond to recognition. We want to know we're seen. Valued. Believed in. Yet in most workplaces, it remains rare. Leaders focus on: — Meeting targets — Fixing problems — Planning next steps While missing what truly matters: — Giving thanks to the one who solved a tough challenge — Showing pride in people who delivered quality work — Recognizing those who supported their teammates Want your team to exceed expectations? 1. Be specific. "I noticed how you simplified the data" is more powerful than "good job." 2. Make it public (when it fits). Recognition in front of peers multiplies impact. 3. Be consistent. Don't save praise for review time. 4. Notice effort, not just results. Sometimes hard work doesn't lead to visible wins. People don't leave companies. They leave leaders who don't value them. (And they stay for those who do.) Someone on your team is deciding whether to bring their full self to work tomorrow. Your appreciation might be the deciding factor. Don't just be the leader who drives results. Be the one they remember for seeing their true value. Because a great leader's legacy isn't measured in profits. It's measured in the people who grew stronger because of you. ?? Repost if this resonated with you. ?? Follow Justin Wright for more on leadership.

    Your success, my mission | 3x founder & CEO | Former CIO $4B company | DEIB ally | Sharing 24 years of hard-earned leadership & self-mastery wisdom

The most powerful leadership tool costs $0. (And you already have it.) Kindness. Most people think success comes from being tough. From pushing harder. From demanding more. But here's what the research shows: Teams led with kindness are... ? 70% more engaged ? 40% more resilient ? 21% more productive?? ? 4x more likely to stay Because kindness isn't weak. It's a strength multiplier. It transforms average teams into exceptional ones. Think about it: When someone shows you kindness at work, you feel seen. Valued. Ready to give your best. That's why great leaders practice these daily: ? They ask real questions, not just "how are you?" ? They defend people who aren't in the room ? They celebrate others' wins like their own ? They respect boundaries and off-hours ? They lead with empathy, not authority ? They offer help before being asked ? They include the quiet voices ? They share knowledge freely ? They give credit generously The truth? Leadership isn't about power. It's about impact. And nothing impacts people more than genuine kindness. Make kindness your competitive advantage. Your team will thank you. Your results will show it. Your legacy will prove it. Want to transform your workplace? Start with kindness. The rest will follow. P.S. How do you show kindness at work? ?? Repost if this resonates with you. ?? Follow Justin Wright for more on leadership. Want PDFs of this and my 80 best cheat sheets? Get them here for free: https://lnkd.in/ehPh7tVp
