We are hiring! H2MOF is tackling climate change by solving the critical challenge of safe and efficient hydrogen storage. We are seeking a Cryogenic Mechanical Engineer to help develop the next-generation solid-state hydrogen storage systems and refueling/charging equipment. In this role, you’ll design and assemble cryogenic systems, manage prototypes, and collaborate with engineers and scientists on testing and optimization. Key tasks include preparing engineering drawings, coordinating manufacturing, and conducting hands-on testing. Qualifications: - Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in cryogenics. - Expertise in cryogenic systems, vacuum insulation, liquid transfer, and safety. - Proficiency in cryogenic and high-pressure fittings. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Experience with hydrogen handling and PLC/LabView programming a plus. In case you missed, the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) 2025 Sustainable Energy in America Factbook was released last week.?The Factbook highlights how announced plans for new hydrogen capacity across the U.S. increased 27% from 2023 with ~16.4 million metric tons announced, including plans to bring 34.7 gigawatts (GW) of electrolyzer capacity online as well as low-carbon production from natural gas with carbon capture.
