Join us for “Brunch & Brushstrokes” at our Summer Opening Minds through Art Gallery! ? Opening Minds through Art (OMA)?pairs FSU student interns with people living with dementia to create intergenerational connections. Each week, the summer interns work with two different older adults with dementia to complete a beautiful abstract art piece.?OMA promotes the autonomy and dignity of its older adult participants through creative expression and “no-fail” abstract artmaking. ? The art show will begin with a brief presentation, and then you are welcome to stroll through the art gallery and enjoy a provided brunch.? ? The Summer OMA gallery will take place?on Friday, June 21st?at 10 AM.?The location is The FSU Claude Pepper Center,?636 W Call St #1124, Tallahassee, FL 32306.?Parking is limited?(carpool is encouraged!) and will only be available through RSVP for non-FSU permit holders.
