To further foster professional development within our brotherhood, Dallas Bush guided us through an interview workshop, where he discussed how to prepare for interviews, ask the right questions, and sell yourself to interviewers. In addition, he discussed GALLO’s Sales Leadership Development Program, a wonderful opportunity for our brothers seeking summer internships in a unique market. Thank you Dallas!

It’s wonderful to represent Delta Sigma Pi on Florida State University’s campus. In 1907, 4 ambitious people - not so dissimilar from our brothers today - created something much bigger than themselves, and we continue to reap to benefits. Gamma Lambda has access to an international network, unique opportunities for professional development and career-building, and a medium through which we service our community and foster fraternal spirit, because of our first 4 brothers and and everyone who supported them 117 years ago. Happy Founder’s Day!

We were honored to hear from Sherry Smyly Pappas, Ed.D., MBA before Chapter! She discussed resumés and cover letters, and outlined some important do’s and don’t’s for us. Getting resumés and cover letters right is so important for us young professionals as we seek career opportunities throughout and after college. In a time where A.I.’s influence over our future only grows, learning how to use it to our advantage is so important!

Yet another reason why you should participate in the Alumni Day Drive Campaign...There is a saying that there is “strength in numbers” and that is very true when we consider the collective power of our brotherhood with over 350,000 alumni and collegiate brothers combined! More: dsp.org/dsp425
