Swanson on receiving the FSPCA Lifetime Achievement Award. For over 60 years, ICMSF has been at the forefront of advancing scientific concepts to combat microbiological foodborne illnesses and food spoilage. The ICMSF was formed through the action of the International Committee on Food Microbiology and Hygiene, a committee of the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS).
