Happy March for Meals! Every March, we celebrate March for Meals to commemorate the historic day in March 1972 when President Nixon signed into law a measure that amended the Older Americans Act of 1965 to include a national nutrition program for seniors 60 years and older. Nationwide, programs are participating in this month-long celebration of Meals on Wheels and our senior neighbors who need it to remain healthy and independent at home. Local elected officials and dignitaries will be visiting our Meals on Wheels program this month.
