The Fresno State AANAPISI Initiative team had the opportunity to attend and present at the Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education #APAHE2024 Conference! Our presentation was titled "Embracing Radical Hope for AANAPI Criminology Scholars", in which we showcased the transformative impact of our culturally responsive program, and invited our student leaders to engage in a panel discussion. Through this panel discussion, our Asian American Pacific Islanders in Criminology (AAPIC) Peer Mentors- Dan Nguyen, Kelly Lee, and Paul Sok; and Working Project Assistant- Emily Xiong, shared about their experiences and insights of how the AANAPISI Initiative provides students with radical hope. A huge shoutout to our AANAPISI Student Success Project Coordinator Lisa Xiong, who was awarded the Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) Grant on behalf of the AANAPISI Initiative to invite students with us to this enriching conference! #FresnoState #AANAPISI #APAHE2024 #RadicalHope #StudentLeadership
