I spoke with Billy Hurley at IT Brew on how Financial Institutions are managing the threat of deepfakes. Great timing with #fraudweek as the article was just published today. Billy summarizes the conversation very well by saying FIs are already using "a lot of the tried-and-true fraud detection" to combat the threat, and we have more to do in the fight. We published a Phishing Prevention Framework to help the financial sector stop scams. Suitable for financial firms of all sizes and maturity levels, the Framework is based on controls and methods that three large US banks used to reduce scam reports by an average of 50%.
