A new Organic Trade Association survey confirms what we at Fruit World love to see: Millennials and Gen Z are committed organic shoppers, valuing the USDA Organic label for its trust and health benefits. Even better? Younger consumers aren’t just choosing organic for themselves—they’re making it a priority for their families too. As this generation grows, so does the future of organic farming. We’re happy to see this shift and excited to keep growing alongside the next wave of organic enthusiasts!

We've been having fun getting into some cool specialty citrus varities, especially the quat crosses. We're currently shipping Mandarinquats & Centennial Kumquats, with Meiwa Kumquats not too far off. ???? The young trees produced their first crop last year, and since the trees were still babies, they only produced a small amount of fruit. This year the adolescent trees are loaded, especially the Mandarinquats! These super fun and flavorful varieties are a great way to jazz up retail citrus offerings, providing customers with a bite-size, poppable snack. The fruit is eaten whole—rind and all. In true Fruit World fashion, we're offering eye-catching clamshells. Open up the clamshells and you'll find info on the varieties and some ideas of what to do with the fruit. At ECOFARM this year, Bianca will be joining journalist and author Mark Arax for a workshop on the future of farming in California. They'll explore the pressing challenges facing Central Valley farmers today, and what it takes to make farms sustainable for generations to come.
