    FrontSpin just released a parallel-dialer feature. Our users will think this is the biggest update ever, but... I'm not a big fan of parallel-dialing. The way most people are using parallel dialers creates major issues: - It hurts connect rates - It makes outreach less personal - It burns your lists and contacts - It creates the illusion your reps are working 2X as hard But since this has been a frequent request, we're giving it a shot:? We built an AI assisted extra-low latency parallel dialer. You have the option to toggle between parallel dialing and power-dialing to test the difference. My prediction: Most users that try it will quickly revert back (85%+). Don't get me wrong, there is a place for parallel dialers:? One of them is when you have a large number of leads (TAM) with the appropriate TCPA consents, a simple, not personalized value proposition and you don’t mind burning most of those leads because your team will never have time to talk to them all.? Think: you need to invite 200 tech workers to attend a trade show in NYC in the next 3 days (out of the 369,000 tech workers in NYC.).? There are other use cases where parallel dialers make sense but they are a minority of the B2B sales calls.? In most B2B sales use cases, the best way to increase the productivity of your reps to 6-8 conversations per hour with a 20-30% connect rate is use TitanX and our power dialer.     Parallel dialers have a deeply uncertain future. Enterprise orgs won't touch them because they aren't necessary - the TAM is too small and the bar for "show me you know me" is higher. Not to mention the legal gray areas. SMB/Mid-Market teams face a different challenge. I've personally seen from multiple market leading solutions that the high volume performance is unsustainable as the infrastructure marks those numbers as spam. Dial to connect ratios plummet after a few months. But all the projections and calculations for the team are built on when the model is performing optimally...leading to a lack of solving the real problem for buyers, which is sustainable efficient pipeline generation. I think that like email infrastructure has pushed back violently and caused massive dips in deliverability, phone infrastructure will push back similarly. It's already happening. What does that mean for Koncert, Orum ??, Nooks, FrontSpin, and the like? My prediction is none will have a meaningful exit on parallel dialing tech alone. ------------------------------------------------------ Follow me if you found this engaging and seek conversations of substance.
