Earlier this year, we convened our Elevate Initiative grantees, past and present, for three days of community building and shared learning. The convening was led by grantee community expertise and their emerging learning needs. At Frontline, we strongly believe in casting visions for the future that are reflective of the needs of communities closest to the issues they aim to shift. We invited grantees to answer a few questions. “What does Liberation & Justice look like for your organization?” Shout out the orgs represented, please explore their work and leave us a comment casting your own vision for liberation! The culture of giving among Black folks is not limited to a specific type of giving, nor can it be designated and compartmentalized in a reductive manner. This graphic and blog delves into the different ways Black philanthropic endeavors take form and its history. Explore the framework. We hope that this artifact allows us all to more fully celebrate the power, breadth, and depth of Black Philanthropy! https://lnkd.in/evwTRQxd
