We're ahead of schedule and have been given the official green light from Marriott to open SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bettendorf next Friday, March 7th! This 86-room hotel is located at 5235 Competition Dr, Bettendorf, in the Plex neighborhood. Hotel features include spacious guest rooms, meeting space for up to 50 people, indoor pool, expansive fitness room, and free hot breakfast served daily. We lost an invaluable team member, Jodi Hamilton, who passed away unexpectedly this past weekend. Jodi dedicated over 22 years to FHG, serving as our Director of Hotel Development and Support Services. To our team, she was more than a colleague, she was the heart and soul of our office. Her laughter was contagious, her presence uplifting, and her ability to connect with people on a deeply personal level was truly unique. Jodi approached every challenge with grace and determination, leaving a legacy of excellence and compassion that will continue to inspire us. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jodi’s family and everyone who loved her. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void in our FHG family, we find comfort in the countless memories we shared and the profound impact she had on us all.

We’re growing again in East Peoria! We're thrilled to announce the start of construction on our third East Peoria hotel— a brand new Hampton Inn! The hotel is set to open in 2026 along the riverfront, and we can’t wait to welcome more guests to this wonderful community. We opened Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Peoria in 2016 and Residence Inn East Peoria in 2021.

The construction of our new SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bettendorf is moving along well and expected to open next Spring! If you've been to the Plex neighborhood recently, you may also have seen that Iron Tee Golf, Pancheros Mexican Grill, Jersey Mike's Subs, McDonald's, Plus Saporis, and Soi 4 Thai, are all now open and ready to serve the local community and visitors. Opening soon- BIBIBOP Asian Grill.
