Pics from yesterday's site visit in Southern Colorado! We've been providing preliminary site planning for a 90-acre development that will be a unique mix of single-family affordable housing, multifamily, commercial, and agricultural uses. We still have a long way to go but we are thrilled to be the prime consultant helping bring our clients' vision to life!

Last summer, we received a call from a property owner who had received a stop work order while milling and overlaying their parking lot without a permit. Further conversations with the City revealed that the site was out of compliance with the approved PUD and that the PUD would need to be amended to bring the site into compliance with current parking lot and landscaping requirements. Luckily, we were able to negotiate deferral of landscaping, irrigation, and most of the parking lot improvements required by the amended PUD until the vacant lot to the north was developed. Unfortunately, the City would not allow the owner to finish paving until the PUD amendment was recorded and the civil CDs for offsite water quality and ROW improvements were approved. This week, we got the okay to print mylars and the PUD is being routed for signature! Now on to construction!
