The event honoured women's invaluable roles as caregivers, farmers, and entrepreneurs and celebrated their contributions to society and sustainable livelihoods. ?????????? ????????????????????: A series of programmes were organized across six villages (5 in TN and 1 in Puducherry). The event saw participation from active and best-performing SHGs, FIGs and change makers in the communities. The event featured: - A brief session on the significance of Women's Day and a refresher on gender sensitization. - Engaging activities, followed by discussions with women leaders from the field. - There was a seed distribution ceremony during which the most active and receptive women farmers were recognized for mitigating climate change. The event successfully highlighted women's resilience and leadership in agriculture, reinforcing their crucial role in building sustainable, climate-resilient livelihoods. #InternationalWomensDay2025 #FPOs #Womenempowerment
