Our Chief Engagement and Outreach Officer, Edgar Masmela, was honored with a Hero of the Deep Award by the Seattle Kraken and One Roof Foundation for his decades of dedication to youth mentorship and making a positive impact. His leadership has transformed lives, and we’re proud to see him recognized for his commitment to building a stronger community! To make this moment even more special, Friends-Seattle will receive a $32,000 grant from the Kraken Unity Fund to continue our mission of providing professional mentorship for 12+ years, no matter what.
