What better way to celebrate World Kindness Day than by giving a shoutout to PRLab at Boston University for going above and beyond for us during their PRoBono event. The future of PR is in very capable hands if the team we worked with is any indication. What a wonderful way to help further our mission to protect, preserve and promote the Blue Hills. The Friends of the Blue Hills is a 1,400-member non-profit organization devoted to preserving and protecting the Blue Hills Reservation’s natural beauty, diverse natural habitats and many recreational opportunities. We work with our members and the larger community to advocate for actions that will enhance the Reservation; encourage all visitors to protect and preserve of the Reservation; promote opportunities for everyone to enjoy the Blue Hills; and partner with the Department of Conservation and Recreation to maintain the Blue Hills' healthy forests, beautiful vistas and safeguard the many wonderful opportunities to enjoy the Blue Hills.

It was an honor to speak at the State House today on the importance of a 401k and the importance of financial planning benefits for small nonprofits and meet Treasurer Goldberg. I have worked for many small nonprofits over my career that offered no retirement plan, this makes it hard if not impossible to plan for retirement, but also limits the talent pool that small nonprofits can attract and retain. Friends of the Blue Hills is proud to be a partner for Massachusetts CORE program.
