Friends of Sacramento Arts hosted its annual fall event, “Fall for Arts Education, Gathering to Support Arts Every Day for Every Child” on November 13th at the historic Turn Verein Hall in Sacramento. The donors and special guests enjoyed rousing jazz music from the high school group, The New Traditionalists, learned about how we are helping provide arts education at local schools from two local teachers and enjoyed the “Instrument Petting Zoo” provided by the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera. Guests enjoyed the catered party courtesy of Kamilos Companies and were invited to help launch the year-end fundraising campaign with a donation. Friends of Sacramento Arts, the only regional nonprofit wholly dedicated to ensuring equitable access to comprehensive arts education in public schools, relies on local philanthropic support to benefit school children.
