We're thrilled to announce that the PEDIGREE Foundation has awarded FOHA a generous $15,000 grant to support our dog behavior program! ???? Thanks to this incredible funding, we’ll continue providing training for our staff and volunteers in positive reinforcement techniques that help our dogs thrive. This includes training categories like the Diamond Dog Program, support for at-risk dogs, and guidance for easily adoptable dogs. Plus, we're developing a brand-new app to track our dogs' training activities! ???? During the month of October, we are grateful to be partnering with #SubaruLovesPets and Dulles Subaru for a nationwide initiative to find loving homes for homeless dogs and cats. According to the ASPCA?, nearly 6.5 million companion animals enter shelters nationwide last year, where many wait to find a loving home. That’s why, as part of their annual #SubaruLovesPets initiative, Dulles Subaru is providing our organization with direct funding through a grant administered by the ASPCA? to help us cover essential costs for preparing animals for adoption, veterinary expenses, and more. We are also partnering with Dulles Subaru to host an adoption event in their showroom on October 13, 2024. Visit these incredible dogs who are waiting for their homes from 10am - 12pm on Oct. 13. He's an 8 yr old mixed breed dog looking for his forever home, or even a foster home to visit for a while.
