Join us at our final Late Skate for the season this Saturday as we partner with the DC Environmental Film Festival for an inspiring showcase of environmental short films that highlight the experiences of brown folks in the outdoors. These captivating shorts celebrate their connection to nature, showcase their adventures, and emphasize the importance of diversity in the environmental movement. We wrapped up our 6-week Thrive Teen Respite program yesterday! Over the past weeks, we provided 20 teens with a safe space to connect and engage in outdoor activities that offered a healthy alternative to staying inside. The program focused on mental health support, social-emotional learning, and creative projects, helping teens build new friendships, move their bodies, and explore nature in a positive, supportive environment. We’re grateful to all of our amazing partners who helped make this program a success and are excited to continue creating spaces that KEEP OUR YOUTH SAFE, healthy, and connected to a year round village of supportive adults! @soultrakoutdoors @chesapeakebaytrust @outdoorfoundation @bzybplr @making_a_difference_dmv
