Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG) is proud to be a $400,000 recipient of the Department of Transportations’ Safe Streets and Roads for All grant, to develop a Safety Action Plan for Safe Routes to School. Partnering with school districts and communities, the plan will study and survey areas with high rates of pedestrian and bicyclist fatalities near schools, identify safety improvement projects and provide recommendations to improve equitable access to our community’s schools across Fresno County.

Update-DEADLINES EXTENDED: The deadline for proposal submission has been extended to December 13. Submit RFP questions to staff by November 29. Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG) is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced consultants to assist with developing a sales tax extension plan, intended to be presented to the voters of Fresno County in November 2026. The selected consultant(s) will assist the Measure C Renewal Committee, supported by Fresno Council of Governments and Fresno County Transportation Authority staff. Submit a proposal by December 18.
