? Celebrating Women's Leadership in Fresh Produce! ? At the FPAA’s Southwest International Produce Expo this November, our very own Martha Noriega had the honor of speaking at the Women’s Leadership Breakfast & Panel, where she shared her powerful insights from over 20 years in the industry. Reflecting on her journey, Martha emphasized the importance of mentorship, both from women and men, in shaping successful careers for women in traditionally male-dominated fields. She highlighted how critical it is for women to support each other while also encouraging men to step up, offering guidance, opportunities, and confidence-building tools. Her message resonated deeply: true leadership means embracing our unique perspectives, regardless of gender, and empowering others to succeed without conforming to old expectations. In Martha’s words, "It's important to be strong, but also teach that it’s okay to be feminine in this industry."
