I’ve been a little quiet on Linkedin lately… But for good reason: we welcomed a tiny intern to the Team on July 4th, healthy Mama and Baby Boy! ??????????

Today we’ll have our largest PO ever going out… Pretty cool to think that just a few years ago we sold this many cases in a 6 month timeframe, now it’s all heading out in a day to one of our distributors. On a mission to improve our processes and diving into margins as we grow… Our Team busted their butts to make this happen - great work!!!

We were THRILLED to get the email from wholefoodmarket stating that they have more than DOUBLED our store count for our launch in July… I could not be more proud of our Team, who was quick to act and stepped right into action preparing for the increase in inventory ?????? Good work Aaron Hayner, Jake Guevara and Yasmin Vasquez on getting ready for the demand… all while we’re ALSO moving into our new bottling Facility!!! I’m no expert… I just play one on LinkedIn ?? In all seriousness… I was honored to be asked to be part of a Walnut Innovation Panel by Jeremy Barton and GoldRiver Orchards, Inc. Discussions were around Farming/Growing practices, sustainable methods and driving both crop yields and price points to support growers. I brought some insight into product innovation as well as consumer/retail facings to help Walnut Growers better understand the challenges and opportunities. I’ve never been more optimistic for California Agriculture… we have challenges but are taking them head on! #californiaagriculture #sustainableag

Northern California: One of the most ecologically diverse regions on the Planet ?? Beaches, Rivers, Yosemite, Tahoe, Agriculture… We’ve got it all, and chances are a portion of your meals today came from here… you’re welcome ?? We use water efficiently… like to keep rivers flowing so Striped Bass like this can eat all the native Salmon (please forgive the sarcasm on that subject). I caught this 13 lb Striped Bass last weekend on the Sacramento River with my 8-year old son. We go fishing for Striped Bass every year on his birthday, which we both love! And yes, we had some amazing fish tacos that we fried in Almond Oil ?? Almond Oil is the Future ???? #californiaagriculture #sustainable

Had an amazing time speaking at the University of California Merced Innovation & Design Hub! I had the opportunity to share my journey as an entrepreneur and engage with a diverse group of students. I've been fortunate to have some amazing mentors who have guided me along the way, and it was my pleasure to pass on some of their wisdom to the next generation. My biggest takeaway from the experience was the incredible potential and bright future ahead for these students. I encouraged them to never stop learning, follow their passions, take risks, and explore the endless possibilities in front of them. Also, my Wife was in the audience with our 2 youngest children… which was special for me ?? #entrepreneurship #mentorship #neverstoplearning

Our local Farmers Market is LEGIT!!! (Turlock, Ca) The Central Valley is arguably the most fertile, productive and diverse Agricultiral land in the ?? And as a self-proclaimed “Foodie” I truly enjoy fresh produce and trying out new items… I stumbled upon a local mushroom grower that produces (amongst several other varieties) a “Lions Mane” mushroom… I originally mistook this for Cauliflower, for obvious reasons… I bought a big one, especially after the vendor described the flavor and health benefits. I cooked it in cast iron with garlic and (of course) Almond Oil ?? Seared it like a steak after watching a couple YouTube tutorials Freakin-WOW!!!! If you have never had Lions Mane, get on this ASAP as it was one of the neatest and unique flavors around!!! My Wife and I were both blown away, and just goes to show that Agriculture and new product awareness can keep our taste buds on our toes! After all, this is not a “New” item as this mushroom has been around for decades Support your Local AG producers and remember: Almond Oil is the Future ??

What a great time in History that we live in - that I can ski a half-day with my 3 year old and not miss a beat at work!!! ?? Our Sierra Nevada mountains had a Sunny Forecast earlier this week: so I woke up early to get some work done, left the house at 7:30 and was back home by 2:30 I made calls on the way up, had cell service for any texts/calls from my employees - spoke to one customer while we ate lunch in the parking lot… He slept for the drive home and I was back in the office by 3pm to wrap up the day… These iPhones are a gift and a curse, just depends on how we utilize them!!! By the way, these mountains have all the natural watershed that supports our Central Valley Agricultural industry ?????? Almond Oil is the Future ??

Opposites Attract - and Complement My Wife and I share Values, but our personalities could not be more different… This picture from our Wedding showcases our individuality, but also our respective character. She is a dedicated, loving, caring (almost to a fault) Mother and Friend that is happy when the spotlight and crowd is not focused on her… never drawing attention to herself or her endeavors ….and then there’s Me - I’ve never met a stranger, strike up conversations with any opportunity, live life in an optimistic state and always forcused on what possibilities could present In many ways, we’re Yin and Yang… but I think that is what makes us so strong in our personal and professional lives. She pays attention to details and I don’t get caught up in them… She’s a self-proclaimed realist and I am the “we’ll figure it out as we go” as I blindly dive into challenges of life and business… But, this works for us… I turn 40 later this years and I’ve never felt stronger as a person, or as a professional ….and I give her all the credit for that: she builds me up, holds me up, and has my back through thick and thin When I have good news, she’s who I share it with first - when I have a hard day, she’s my ear to hear the struggle… She’s an Angel and a Lioness all in one - and she’s unstoppable!
