This is pushing me waaaaaay out of my comfort zone (my job in #PR puts everyone else on a "stage," not me), but nevertheless as I've said before, I am incredibly honored to receive this recognition. Picked out my outfit on Friday at the really cool French Cuff Boutique. My daughter was not exactly a fan of the final product (why are they so brutally honest?!), but I am and I am happy to walk the runway with a remarkable group of women. Again, I'm not sure how I got here in the same name and sentence as some of these women, but here I am. So I will embrace it and be thankful and grateful. I do not take recognitions like this lightly, and thank my team, my leadership, and the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce. Now let's go rock that runway! P.S. If you have any runway experience and want to share some tips with me so I don't trip and fall and look like a fool, I'm all ears!

Whew! We did it! I have had a few days to breathe and take in our fabulous Duck Hunt Fashion Show hosted by Houston Women's Finance Exchange! It was a labor of love months in the making and I am overwhelmed by our SOLD OUT event!
