We had the pleasure of officially celebrating la Francophonie with our long-time partners last night in our walls. March 2025 has been officially proclaimed "Francophonie Month in the State of Massachusetts" by Mayor of Boston Michelle Wu, and a joyful audience of New England "amis" walked from one organization's table to another, discovering new places and their francophone cultures. Among the esteemed guests welcomed by French Library Chairman Steven Galante and President & Executive Director Barbara Bouquegneau were Consul General of France in Boston Mustafa SOYKURT, Consul General of Haiti in Boston regine winza etienne; from the Consulate General of Canada, Meaghan Sunderland; from the Délégation Générale du Québec René Sylvestre, MBA and Marie-Josée Duquette, and Director of Villa Albertine Boston Frédérique Horn. Representatives of the City of Boston Charlie Ng and Yuxi Wang read the official proclamation in English and French, respectively. It was a night to remember "ce qui nous unit" par la langue et les merveilles de nos cultures. #Francophonie #MoisDeLaFrancophonie #AmitieFrancophone
