Did you know that January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month? Here are just two examples of organizations taking action to spread awareness. First, on Tuesday January 7th at 7pm, in conjunction with their game against the Miami Heat, our very own Golden State Warriors will be hosting their first Human Trafficking Awareness Night. The Warriors have invited Freedom Insight to be featured at the event! Formerly know as the Bay Area Anti-Trafficking Coalition, Freedom Insight actively works to disrupt the criminal business of human trafficking to prevent future exploitation of the most vulnerable. Second, on thursday January 16th from 11am to 1pm, Love Never Fails will be hosting a Church Coalition Serve Day! Volunteers will be packaging dignity kits for the Love Never Fails outreach team to distribute to communities all over the Bay area.
