Thank you, KnitWell Group, for opening your doors to the next generation–this is what creating access looks like! ? “The most important thing I learned from this company visit is the advice given to us–that it’s important to have a network, to never be afraid to ask questions or for help, to follow your passion, and know that there will be trial and error.”? ? - Maria, 12th Grade, The High School of Fashion Industries? #ProfessionalDevelopment #FreeArtsNYC #ArtForAll?

“The most compelling role was the role of the software engineer because I learned the reasons for some of their app implications and got firsthand intel about the evolution between the start of Snapchat and now.” - Mehki, 11th Grade, Millennium Art Academy Thank you Snap Inc. for hosting a Creative Career Week visit. We learned about career opportunities in the tech industry and gained behind-the-scenes insights from employees about their professional journeys. This is what creating access looks like. #FANYC #FreeArtsNYC #ArtForAll

Teens from @freeartsnyc had the coolest behind-the-scenes shop tour with the @colossalmedia team for Creative Career Week! It was a blast learning about their mission and dedication to hand-painted media, understanding their process, roles, touring the paint shop, and discovering analog VR glasses, a.k.a. viewfinders! IYKYK The highlight? Painting our new logo (designed by @icnclst)?as a massive mural! Thank you for the incredible experience and the awesome t-shirts and gifts to remember it by. #FANYC #FreeArtsNYC #ArtForAll #ColossalMedia #ronan_paints

“My favorite part was the design activity. It exposed us to what the employees do in the company–making a moodboard with the ideas of the client and jotting down what type of aesthetic they’ll like. It was nice having the employees help us out on the activity and asking questions along the way.”? - Maria, 12th Grade, The High School of Fashion Industries We're thankful to A+I (@A+I) for hosting us during Creative Career Week, where we designed a mock pop-up shop for Olivia Rodrigo (@OliviaRodrigo). Creative Career Week gives high schoolers backstage access to NYC's creative industry, helping them build social capital and professional skills through mentorship. #FANYC #FreeArtsNYC #ArtForAll?
