Free Form Fibers LLC is developing “High Temperature, Low Dielectric Constant Ceramic Fibers for Missile Applications”, using its Laser Chemical Deposition Process (LCVD). LCVD enables the custom development and manufacture of ceramic fibers, with control over composition, stoichiometry, purity, length and diameter, which allow for creation of the highest performance ceramic composites. The LCVD process, which Free Form Fibers has scaled from proof-of-concept to commercial production scale, enables the visualization and creation of a range of fiber compositions.
