This morning, we had the honor of hosting MD Comptroller, Brooke Leirman, to have a discussion with some local Chamber Members about Maryland’s participation in Direct File! This new program will begin in the 2024 Tax Season and offer a wider variety of resources for the community, especially low income tax payers. This past week was Business Appreciation Week organized by the Frederick County Office of Economic Development! This annual event is all about celebrating and recognizing the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our local businesses, which are the backbone of our vibrant community. Madelyn Wilson and Shelby Maly proudly served as ambassadors, visiting some of the many businesses that make Frederick County a thriving place to live and work. Through initiatives like Business Appreciation Week, we can show our dedication to uplifting our local businesses.
