When you’re stressed, your body enters "fight or flight" mode, releasing hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. These hormones cause your muscles to tighten, especially in areas like your neck, shoulders, and back. If you’re constantly in fight or flight, this tension can lead to pain, headaches, and poor posture over time. But don’t worry—relief is within reach! Try relieving stress with these techniques: ♦️ Deep Belly Breathing: ✴️Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. ✴️Place one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach. ✴️Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your stomach to rise while keeping your chest still. ✴️Exhale slowly through your mouth, feeling your stomach fall. ✴️Repeat for 5-10 breaths to calm your nervous system. ♦️ Neck and Shoulder Stretch: ✴️Sit tall and relax your shoulders. ✴️Gently tilt your head toward one shoulder, holding for 15-20 seconds. ✴️Repeat on the other side. ✴️Roll your shoulders backward in a circular motion for 10 seconds to release tension. ✴️Add a gentle forward chin tuck to stretch the back of your neck. Ingredients For the Salad: 2 blood oranges, peeled and thinly sliced 2 navel oranges, peeled and thinly sliced 1 grapefruit, peeled and thinly sliced 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds 1/4 cup walnuts, lightly toasted 2 cups mixed greens or arugula 1 small fennel bulb, thinly sliced (optional) For the Dressing: 3 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 tsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan) 1/4 tsp ground turmeric Pinch of sea salt Freshly ground black pepper to taste Instructions 🌟Prepare the Fruits: Peel and slice the oranges and grapefruit into rounds.
