Our Fred Meyer Jewelers team in Meridian, Idaho, recently had the privilege of hosting a special Make-A-Wish event. Through our partnership with Jewelers for Children, we celebrated 9-year-old Paislee's upcoming wish trip to Hawaii. Despite facing daily health challenges, Paislee's spirit shines bright. Store manager Joshua Wittchow and his team threw a tropical-themed party, complete with decorations, cake, and a commemorative gift. It was a rewarding experience for all involved, embodying our commitment to community support and creating memorable moments. ??

Together, we raised a little over?$192,000?to help fund CASA advocates in their tireless and passionate pursuit of protecting children who have been abused or neglected and are going through the trauma of the foster care system.?They are granted tremendous authority by the court and can do what it takes to see that a child is not ignored, their best interests and critical needs are addressed and that the presiding judge is able to understand the true facts of a child’s condition in an over-burdened child welfare system. ?
