At Fraser, Ltd., we serve young mothers in our Transitional Youth Services program who are working hard to create a stable future for themselves and their little ones. Right now, we’re in need of baby essentials to support them on their journey. ?? Items needed: - Formula (for babies under 1 year) - Bottles & sippy cups - Baby wipes - Diapers (Size 5 & 6) - A&D Ointment/Diaper Rash Cream These essentials may seem small, but they have a big impact on the well-being of both mother and child. Homelessness can happen to anyone. For young people trying to rebuild their lives, having access to support and resources can make all the difference. At Fraser, Ltd., we believe in meeting individuals where they are, offering shelter, essential resources, life skills, and advocacy through our Transitional Youth Services. We work with young adults ages 16-26 to provide the guidance and stability they need to build a foundation for a brighter, more independent future. Here’s one young man’s story: "For the past three years, life has been a real struggle. Once a man with dreams and a future, he has now found himself living on the streets after being released from prison. He has been ignored by everyone and treated like he doesn’t belong. Each day has been a battle, however, Fraser has been a huge help for him. It has allowed him to find a small amount of comfort. He feels welcomed to Fraser because the staff are willing to listen and have one-on-one sessions with him to help him stand on his own two feet again. He said the hardest part about being homeless is 'just trying to stay warm.' His only hope for the future is to actually have a place he can call home." This story is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. By providing stability, empowerment, and resources, we help young adults navigate life’s challenges and work toward a future they can be proud of. Homelessness isn’t always visible. Many young adults in our community are struggling without a stable place to call home - bouncing between temporary stays, sleeping in cars, or relying on shelters. In fact, an estimated 4.2 million youth and young adults experience homelessness each year in the U.S. (Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago). At Fraser, Ltd., our Transitional Youth Services provide housing support, life skills training, and resources to help young adults build a stable future.
