Enlightened Revenue Management. At its core, RevZen is an education-forward company that prioritizes an holistic approach to Revenue Management. It is our goal to empower property managers to take hands-on control of their revenue strategy and to become the in-house experts at their companies whenever possible. RevZen's mission is to help property managers do that through comprehensive education and involvement that doesn't just focus on tactics but equips them with a fuller understanding of concepts and theory that they can leverage comprehensively throughout their business. Arming them with the mindset and critical thinking skills to address the gamut of potential obstacles in the RM discipline prepares them and the business to weather all types of storms. Alternately, we know that what some companies most want or need is someone to just come in and help immediately. RevZen can do that, too! We always want to make sure we are working with a purpose, so prior to engagement, we will dedicate ample time to understand your portfolio, owners, and business goals to ensure optimal success; and because we are an education-first company, we will prioritize effective communication and work hand-in-hand with the team. Once two Zen monks were walking together along a muddy road. A heavy rain was still falling. Coming around a bend they met an attractive young girl in a silk kimono and sash, unable to cross the intersection because of a big puddle of mud in her way. The girl asked if one of them could lift her across. The younger one said, “Certainly not, my vows preclude my touching a woman.” The older monk simply picked her up and carried her over the mud. The two monks walked on in silence for some time. Finally, the younger one spoke: “I cannot get over the fact that you carried that woman across the mud. REVZEN is based in Charlottesville, Virginia - home to the University of Virginia - which boasts the very first Data Science School in the country... And REVZEN is honored to have recently welcomed one of their MSDS graduates to the REVZEN Team! Having a dedicated data scientist on board means that, in addition to ongoing process and procedure verification of REVZEN's models and practices, we can now offer fully customized, data research/analysis, in addition to our suite of Revenue Management services. While primarily focused on the short-term/vacation rental space, we are also open to projects in any field. Essentially, REVZEN will work with all organizations seeking to extract insights from their data to help them understand customer behavior, design messaging, predict future trends, and make informed business decisions.
