Today, we celebrate 25 years of Franklin Tomorrow! 🎉 Founded on March 20, 2000, our journey of community engagement and vision continues. 💚 This morning, we honored our journey with a special Founders' Breakfast, welcoming longtime supporters, volunteers, and community members who have shaped our mission since 2000. Mayor Ken Moore issued a proclamation this morning declaring today as Franklin Tomorrow Day! 🎉

Franklin Tomorrow is a non-profit civic and citizen participation initiative that began in early 2000 in response to concern by citizens, business leaders, preservation groups, and local government officials who wanted to maintain the charm, cultural history, landscape and unique attributes of Franklin in the face of tremendous growth and development.

Franklin Tomorrow kicked off its 25th anniversary week on Monday, March 17, with the presentation of a state resolution by Sen. Jack Johnson during its monthly FrankTalks lecture at The Factory At Franklin. Johnson, R-Franklin, represents the 27th District in the Tennessee Senate and is Senate majority leader. In part, the resolution honored Franklin Tomorrow, which "presents information programs that allow the community to be engaged and informed about the challenges that face Franklin as well as the positive things happening in the community; these programs include FrankTalks, a monthly lecture series, and Breakfast With The Mayors, a quarterly lecture series."
