India experiences One of my most memorable experiences was training in our Hyderabad office. Global impact Based in Florida, I relish the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues worldwide. When our Transfer Agency (TA) expanded to Hyderabad and Poznan, I led over 25 training initiatives to support these new offices. Being part of a small but mighty team that helped these offices grow and support the US TA globally was incredibly rewarding. ?? Championing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives As a global leader for the Women Business Resource Group, I’ve gained leadership experience, expanded my network and promoted inclusion within the company. But what makes this role truly special is the personal connections I’ve made. I love seeing how we support each other as a team. All of our eight BRGs are pivotal to Franklin Templeton’s DEI success. It is empowering that any employee can join any group, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. ?? Body, mind and beach Last year, I started strength training and love the improvements in my strength and mobility. I’ve been with Franklin Templeton for seven years and currently serve as a Venture Analyst in the newly formed Franklin Templeton Strategic Ventures (FTSV) group. My role involves evaluating innovative fintech and technology companies for corporate investment opportunities that may align with our strategic objectives. Before joining Franklin Templeton in our customer operations department, I knew very little about the company or the mutual fund business. But to my surprise, I quickly discovered that I was deeply passionate about investing becoming my long-term career. ?? Shaping the future of asset management #AI, #blockchain and #fintech have been major buzzwords in global markets for the past several years now, and many are in a race to unlock the value these technologies can bring to the way we work, live and interact with each other. My work involves understanding these technologies and selecting companies that align with our vision for the future. ?? Sharing is learning One of my most memorable experiences was participating in our University Partnerships program by helping students with their AI-company pitches. I think it’s incredibly important to always pay it forward, so it was rewarding to share what I’ve learned from my experience over the years to help students with their final presentation. ?? Social engagement I have the privilege of serving as our global lead for the Black Empowerment Network (BEN) at Franklin Templeton, and it’s one of the most important social initiatives at work that brings me joy.
