Recently, Shawna Gibbs-Ayers, ADAMH director of Education & Special Initiatives, partnered with the Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition and Concord Counseling Services to spread awareness about youth suicide prevention. Thank you, Groveport Madison Schools, Westerville City Council and Westerville Mayor Kenneth Wright for allowing our organizations to discuss the importance of suicide prevention with the community and recognizing September as National Suicide Prevention Month.?

In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, FCSPC Question, Persuade, and Refer Instructor Samuel Camacho shares rewarding aspects of his work in the Latine community.

The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline offers access to trained professionals who can help people experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and the FCSPC’s Education Action Team has been out in the community raising awareness about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Look out for our yard signs and help spread the word—one simple call can save a life!
