For most companies looking to create content, one-off videos have been the standard. The focus has been on creating the best 30 seconds or a minute of animation and then resizing for social media. While one-off videos can be incredibly powerful, the volume of content needed these days requires a lot more deliverables, and more testing, without significantly larger budgets. At Franc we’ve been working with our clients to find a new solution: a modular approach to animation and motion graphics. Instead of a single, difficult-to-update or repurpose video, we design everything from the start to be reusable and easily adjustable. This can be done on a small scale—designing a single video with easily re-workable components, stretching a small budget to deliver something much more substantial. Or on a large scale—developing an expandable library of assets, templates, and tools to meet a wide range of needs.
