If you had someone look at your bank accounts, credit card statements, and schedule, what would they say you’re focused on? What would they say you are passionate about? And then is it where you WANT to be focused? Is it what you ARE passionate about? (taken from Northpoint Church sermons) Whether Christian or not, this is a great exercise.

But don’t just listen to the Word, you must do what it says. (Bible book of James Chapter 1.) I am action oriented so I love the book of James. Its why I prefer to consider myself a ‘follower’ of Jesus as opposed to being a ‘believer’ or a ‘Christian.’ Follower to me projects action. If you’re happy going to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and hanging with your church, I encourage you to get in the game – quit ‘practicing.’ Andy Stanley puts it this way, “Many are attending but never challenged to follow. We must Do and not just hear and believe.”
