Over the weekend we were honored to sponsor Ebenezer at their Etching Our Future in Stone Event, supporting their mission to empower seniors to lead healthier, more vibrant lives. For more than a century, Ebenezer has been a leader in providing exceptional care, and we're proud to contribute to their efforts in enriching the lives of their residents. Proceeds from the event went to Ebenezer’s Lifelong Learning program, which helps keep the mind, body, and spirit engaged at any age through the pursuit of knowledge and new experiences. From project to project, our commitment stays the same—expert craftsmanship, delivered every time. Here’s a look at some of our builds this week.

At our core, we lead with innovation, fueling a powerful drive for progress and groundbreaking solutions that endure the test of time. That’s why we made a major investment in the wood frame housing industry 23 years ago by establishing the Frana Companies Wall Plant. This is one of the first prefabricated wall and floor manufacturing plants in the Upper Midwest. With this innovative facility, we deliver unique value to every client by manufacturing prefabricated walls, floors, and stairs exclusively for every Frana project. Coupled with our self-performing carpentry crews, the Frana Wall Plant allows us to lead in providing the most cost-effective and highest quality wood and light gauge steel frame housing construction services. We continue to push the innovation of the prefabrication process by installing windows and spray foam at this facility as well. In August 2023, we enhanced our construction process with the Frana Companies Floor Plant. This facility produces floor and roof trusses and prefabricated floor sections exclusively for our clients’ projects. This addition to our prefabrication process benefits clients with higher quality materials as well as the ability to construct more square footage with less overall labor hours on site. In a competitive housing labor market, where quality and competency are no longer quite as important, we assure our clients we will staff projects properly with skilled craftspeople who are concerned about the finished product, and can pre-build the walls, stairs, and floor sections in a controlled environment. We are passionate about delivering unmatched quality and timeliness.?

Did you know that we are a recognized leader in developing safety protocol? Over time, we have engineered safety procedures into how we build and manufacture each day. This significantly reduces employee exposure to hazards. In fact, OSHA has recognized our fall protection programs as a gold standard by sharing our approach with other companies. We assure our employees and clients that safety is ingrained in every task we undertake. From our carpenters to our CEO, everyone receives extensive training in how to protect themselves and others from unnecessary risk.

MILESTONE - PROGRESS!!! Last week, we completed out final PT deck walkthrough at Wadaag Commons in Minneapolis #SewardCommons. Deck is now poured and stressed. #kudos to the entire team. Next up - Wood Framing! Woot woot! It’s always exciting to see the project coming to life from the paper design to reality (see picture below). Can’t wait to see the finished product. Let’s go team!! Construction Update: The American Cooperative at Lake Phalen Zone 1 is taking shape, with framing reaching the roof. We’re already working on parapets and unit decks and electrical rough-ins are underway too. Zone 2 kicked off first floor framing, and the momentum is strong. Lastly, Xcel also brought electrical runs onsite, keeping things on track. We’re happy to be making progress and look forward to seeing this building come to life! Exciting news: we recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a new project called Estoria Cooperative Lakeville! This project will provide 89 units of cooperative living housing for adults 62 and older in Lakeville, Minn. We're excited to make progress over the next few weeks—updates to come.
