Our Charlotte team participated?in the 1st annual Greater Charlotte Build-A-SHED competition last Friday,?where four local high schools put their construction skills to the test in a 7-hour hands-on challenge to build a 6x6x8 playhouse.? ? Frampton Construction and?Starr Electric Company, Inc.?proudly partnered with A.L. Brown High School, mentoring the 7-person carpentry class at the event. Through the ABC Carolinas Chapter Build-A-SHED program, our FCC team helped give these students valuable insights into construction safety, techniques, and the importance of teamwork.? ? Frampton Construction is excited to partner once again with PORTMAN Industrial, this time on the construction of Summerville Logistics Center, a 549,000-square-foot tilt-wall industrial campus in Summerville, SC. Spanning 31 acres, the design-build project will include two rear-load facilities with a shared truck court. The first building measures 313,000 square feet, and the second one will be 236,000 square feet. Frampton Construction is thrilled to announce that we have kicked off work on a 300,000-square-foot distribution facility for Le Creuset of America in Hampton County, SC. This build-to-suit facility will bring together bulk and direct-to-consumer distribution, general storage, and a two-story office space on a 62-acre site along Bob Gifford Boulevard. We’re excited to see the The Post and Courier highlight a cause close to our hearts. It feels like just yesterday we teamed up with the local American Heart Association and joined the first-ever Lowcountry Hard Hats with Heart campaign. Since 2019, this incredible initiative has raised over $1 million to promote cardiovascular health in the construction industry, and we’re proud to have had multiple Frampton leaders help lead the charge. Progress continues at our Saia Inc. project in Tucson! The foundation walls are set, safety bollards installed, and walls backfilled.
