Happy 1,000 days Framework! The “Thousand Day Rule” is a pattern that claims entrepreneurs should expect to perform worse their first thousand days, or 3 years, in business before they see success. We respectfully disagree. In our first thousand days we have certainly seen highs and lows, but many more successes worth celebrating. We have built a strong team, designed and moved into our new office, and partnered with clients on interesting projects that have shaped the Austin area while developing great friendships in the industry. Last Friday, our team gathered for an off-site meeting at the Central Library in Austin, one of our top choices among the iconic buildings downtown. The day was dedicated to exchanging ideas and discussing our aspirations for the future. Our conversations covered topics such as client engagement, developing talent, and setting partnership objectives. Trusted relationships and excellent customer service really pays off. Take our new headquarters for example. We were referred to Helm CRE to renovate a former tax office building into a bright, airy office space. Nearing project completion, we had built such a great relationship they asked us to "move in" with them. A true labor of love, Hillside is a new hilltop destination with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Marble Falls. The 15-acre property will feature an event center, chapel, casitas, restaurant, bakery, and coffee shop. To capitalize on the beautiful setting, special attention was paid to walking trails, green space, and rainwater capture. When Framework Cofounder Jeremy's path crossed with Rachel Tiller, Founder, Spicewood Christian Academy, he saw an opportunity to give back to his community. Spicewood Christian is a fast-growing, Christ-centered, private school start-up who needed help bringing their vision to life for their $10M capital fundraising campaign.
