I just got back from a great 3-day class on the fundamentals of gas measurement class for Sempra Global, down in Ensenada, Baja California, MX. GCI did a great job of coordinating the class and Sempra hosted it in a beautiful facility at a local college. Measurement was only one week of training for the 30 soon-to-be Sempra employees. It was a great group that was highly motivated and engaged. Its always a pleasure to share knowledge with young folks entering our industry, but this class had a twist...over 50% of the students were women. This is unheard of in the U.S. Way to go Sempra ! ! ! I wish all of them the best in their upcoming careers.
