The ability to decide when and how you start your family shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be a universal right. Research shows that access to contraception doesn’t just impact individuals—it transforms entire generations. When we prioritize family planning, we create better opportunities, ensure children attain higher education, and improve overall health and well-being. However, progress is too slow. That’s why we’re calling on you to be part of this bold movement and help spread the word. What has been made possible in your life by family planning? Your voice can help protect access for millions. Share your story today. ? #MadePossibleByFP

Even with funding challenges, family planning drives economic growth, gender equality, and public health. As Dr. Samukeliso Dube says, “Family planning is economic stability. It is gender equality. It is newborn and child health.” ?? Every $1 invested yields at least $8.78 in benefits—impacting families and societies for generations. Now’s the time to ensure access for all. #MadePossibleByFP #ForALLWomenAndGirls https://bit.ly/4i4FRVk

From Dr Samukeliso Dube: At FP2030, we have a vision: a world with universal access to family planning. That world can only be possible if country governments have a budget allocation for family planning – not only for family planning commodities, but also for counseling, education, and programming.

Family planning is for everyone. As we work toward universal access to reproductive health, it’s essential to recognize the role of men in the conversation. Vasectomy is a safe, effective, and underutilized option that can help create a more equitable approach to contraception. ??? Check out this powerful video from World Vasectomy Day to see how communities worldwide are embracing vasectomy as part of a comprehensive family planning strategy. https://wvd.org/ #WorldVasectomyDay #FamilyPlanning #ReproductiveHealth #FP2030 #GlobalHealth #HealthForAll

The AHAIC event comes at a time of uncertainty for Africa, with shifting geopolitics and funding challenges. The U.S. withdrawal of health funding has left a gap in resources, but family planning remains crucial to ensuring youth development and economic progress. At AHAIC 2025, FP2030 is launching the "Made Possible by FP" campaign, reaffirming our commitment to sustaining progress in family planning. Since 2022, FP2030 has partnered with governments, donors, and civil society across Africa, securing commitments from 12+ countries to advance reproductive health. Now, more than ever, family planning must remain central to Africa's social and economic agenda. It empowers youth to stay in school, thrive, and contribute to their countries’ future. https://ahaic.org/ #FP2030 #FamilyPlanning #Africa #ReproductiveHealth #YouthEmpowerment

By Laura Raney, FP2030's Director of High Impact Practices (HIPs) Secretariat: ?? Now, more than ever, women around the world need information about and access to #familyplanning. The HIPs Partnership is excited to share the draft version of a new brief on Contraceptive Self-Care for your review and feedback. Contraceptive self-care is the ability of individuals to freely and effectively space their pregnancies, time their pregnancy in their life-plan, and prevent pregnancies in alignment with their fertility preferences, with or without the support of a healthcare provider. HIPs briefs are intended to facilitate the use of evidence to inform program investments in developing country contexts. They provide an unbiased synthesis of the evidence and experience on implementing the HIP to-date. Briefs also describe the priority information gaps and tested tools. The audience for HIP briefs is individuals managing #familyplanning programs and investments in developing countries. Your feedback will help us to strengthen the brief to ensure it is most useful. To review and provide feedback go to https://bit.ly/3CADnib and enter password HIPs4FP. Feedback is open through Friday, February 21. Thank you for your support of the HIPs partnership! HIPs Co-Sponsors: United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), IBP Network/World Health Organization, International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), FP2030, Gates Foundation, Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and The David and Lucile Packard Foundation #HIPs4FP https://bit.ly/2BmFLsq
