Happy to announce our Dallas new hires! We added Devin Bryant and Xavier Andrade to our Construction Materials Testing Department. These two have played a substantial role in helping elevate and expand our office-both in the field and in the lab. Their knowledge of the industry continues to grow substantially each day. Xavier, brings with him knowledge and experience in the field of concrete and reinforcement steel. In his time away from the field, he enjoys various forms of physical exercise and investing in his health. Devin,?applies this acquired knowledge well in the CMT lab, taking on the role of our reliable lab technician. Away from the lab, he enjoys reading to expand his knowledge, playing basketball, and gaming, all alongside being a new dad. Congratulations Xavier and Devin!

Hartland North Elementary School hosted a touch-a-truck event for their 4k classes to introduce the kids to different types of vehicles used within the community. We had fun bringing a Giles drill rig and Dave Cornale, Drilling Department Manager, volunteered his time to show the kids the equipment we work with, and it was a hit! Welcome to Brookfield Poplar Creek! It is awesome to see a project years in the making be able to eye the finish line.??Encompassing the last two years of construction and the years of predevelopment, Giles has had the privilege of having been part of it all. Our involvement began with performing comprehensive geotechnical engineering and subsurface exploration services conducted in tandem with Phase I/Ltd Phase II ESAs, Asbestos Surveys on the previous structures on the property, Magnetometer Surveys all through our Environmental department.???During construction of the five additional buildings as part of Phase II of the project, Giles’ amazing Construction Materials Testing department has verified construction specifications to keep the project moving forward, and maintain project schedules by providing Post-Tension Placement Observations and Stressing Observations along with Concrete Moisture Testing in the parking garage area.?Our involvement on this property began in 2017 with Phase I of the development. ? We are so pleased and proud to have been a part of this amazing new development in Brookfield.??
