Maya Haptas, Maura Kay, and Juliette Crellin, represented our team at the 2025 Allegheny Together Summit, a free day of workshops for municipal leaders and small business owners in Allegheny County, PA. More than 80 people attended, representing 30 municipalities from across the county. Since 2019, we have brought a holistic set of technical assistance services to the Allegheny Together Initiative, an award-winning program that creates well-planned, well-designed, and geographically focused investments while respecting communities’ unique history, character, and built environment. Maura Kay, Chris Worley, and Jerry P., of Fourth Economy, recently met with financial leaders in Philadelphia to discuss a solution aimed at preserving home ownership and building generational wealth for heirs households. The goal of the group is to create a pilot loan product for deployment by Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Jacksonville and builds off our previous work supporting LISC's Family Wealth Creation program. https://lnkd.in/gFmZDWQm Read the blog for additional insights. ??

Congratulations to our partners at Fourth Economy for receiving the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association Award alongside evolveEA for their work on ACED’s Allegheny Together program dedicated to fostering well-planned, community-driven main street investment across Allegheny County. Through strategic planning, data analysis, and urban design, Allegheny Together helps communities strengthen their business districts while honoring their unique character. We look forward to celebrating the success of the program and welcoming community partners and leaders at the upcoming Allegheny Together Annual Summit on Friday, February 21st, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at The Connect Center in East Pittsburgh. With increased investment from Allegheny County, we will be working with partners to map out an expanded program and will continue the conversation on building vibrant, connected neighborhoods.
