We're bringing back residential glass recycling in Knoxville

We are Knoxville's one and only dedicated glass recycling company. Every day, we're working to keep glass out of landfills through our residential collection program (commercial coming soon!). The glass we collect is crushed into sand and used for local construction projects, decorative landscaping, and even in next generation 3D printed wall cladding. Happy #AmericaRecyclesDay! We are celebrating our first anniversary of glass recycling in Knoxville. Over the past year, we've grown to over 150 subscribers, bought our first truck, and kept 28,000 lbs of glass out of the landfill. Our goal is to double this next year! We just finished our first collection runs, and we picked up over 2000 lbs of glass in two days! That's one ton of glass that won't be going to landfill, but will be crushed and find new life as construction sand and gravel for local projects. With a glass recycling rate of around 7% in Tennessee, we have a lot of room to grow! Let's find more ways to reuse our glass waste, like the 3D printing at Vitriform3D.
