But when you’re developing B2B sellers who are expected to close $100K+ deals, call volume can’t be the leading metric. Here are three metrics I'd focus on when coaching B2B salespeople: ??. ?????? ?????????????????????????? ?????????????? Are your reps consistently generating qualified B2B leads? This is your early signal that pipeline is growing. ??. ???????????????? ???????????????? ????. ?????????? Do they have enough in the funnel to hit their number? For high-value deals, you’re looking for 3–5X coverage at a minimum. ??. ?????????? ?????????? ???????????? Do you know how long it actually takes to close a $100K deal on your team? Tracking this helps you spot stalled deals and better coach. If your salespeople aren’t hitting these three metrics, then work your way down to activity: ?? Meetings set ?? Meetings held ?? And yes, call volume I used activity as a coaching tool not the primary scoreboard because it doesn't always directly correlate with revenue success. From experience, I know nothing is worse than feeling like you’re in trouble for not hitting a call number.
