Congratulations to the entire UCI Health – Fountain Valley cath lab team and cardiologists Dr. Patel and Dr. Singh on a successful first ever leadless pacemaker procedure for our facility. This new one-piece device implants into the heart by way of a vein and unlike traditional pacemakers, doesn’t need a separate battery or leads. Signals from the device keep the heart beating normally.

We are pleased to recognize Frances for always being willing to listen, provide feedback and educate fellow co-workers. She has been an integral member of transition team over the past nine months and is more than deserving of recognition for her efforts, dedication and hard work. Frances’s work ethic is as pristine as her coordinated outfits! We appreciate you so much!

UCI Health – Fountain Valley had an amazing time at the recent Vietnamese Physician Association of Southern California (VPASC) health fair! Hundreds of attendees, mostly Vietnamese-speaking, shared their gratitude for having UCI Health nearby. We offered a range of health screenings and medical exams, thanks to our dedicated providers from across Orange County.

UCI Health - Fountain Valley wrapped up the season with our vibrant End of Summer celebration! Despite the lingering heat, we enjoyed an event packed with snacks, games, and plenty of smiles. A big thank you to everyone who joined us!

Our Orange County Region is in critical need of blood donations, and we’re excited to share that our leadership team at UCI Health - Fountain Valley stepped up in style. They went all out for our GO RED blood drive promote the cause and encourage donations! A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support this crucial effort.
